Eu não posso telnetar o MySQL no meu localhost. O MySQL está instalado e funcionando e funciona bem com o servidor Apache-SSL / PHP / MySQL, mas não consigo conectar por telnet:

O mesmo para o localhost

Netstat confirma que o MySQL está sendo executado na porta 3306:

Mas não consigo me conectar com -h 127.0.0.1:

Ainda assim, coloquei o endereço de ligação 127.0.01, vi /etc/mysql/my.cnf: ...

E eu reiniciei o MySQL:
/etc/init.d/mysql restart

Portanto, não sei o que verificar e o Postfix não pode se conectar ao MySQL. Alguém sabe o que devo verificar?

Resolvido . A interface estava baixa! ifconfig lo up corrigiu.
