Alguém sabe por que os videogames estão fazendo com que a minha internet caia fora? (mas nada mais é)

Cerca de 24 horas atrás, comecei a ter problemas com meu modem e / ou roteador, onde jogar videogames fazia com que a minha conexão caísse e saísse constantemente, cerca de 15 segundos depois, 15 segundos fora. Tudo o resto está funcionando perfeitamente bem (incluindo torrent e streaming de vídeos do youtube 1080p)

O roteador é um TP-Link TL-WR1043ND e o modem é um Netgear CG814WGv3 com o material wireless e roteador desativado.

A conexão é sem fio, mas não vejo nenhum tipo de interrupção ou problemas de conexão. Isso só acontece quando joga.

Isso parece algo que alguém já viu antes? Eu já tive problemas de roteador padrão, mas nunca, nunca vi um problema causado por jogos e nem por download de torrents a 1,5MB / s ou por streaming de vídeos do YouTube em 1080p ...
