Estou tentando configurar um servidor PPPoE no meu sistema Ubuntu 14.04 para fins de teste. O servidor e o cliente têm o Ubuntu 14.04 instalado. Eu segui o guia deste site para configurar o servidor.

Então, quando eu executo o servidor PPPoE, executando o seguinte comando:

e configuração NAT
sudo iptables -t nat -A POSTROUTING -s 192.168.1.0/24 -o eth0 -j MASQUERADE
então eu conecto meu cliente usando o comando
sudo pppoeconf

Este é o seu erro: "Jul 10 08:55:06 OptiPlex-760 pppd [4644]: Falha no peer russo CHAP Verificação da sessão" - o usuário / senha está configurado corretamente no cliente? Você colocou alguma coisa no nome do servidor? você deve ter um * para poder se conectar a qualquer servidor.
