Eu tenho uma caixa do Ubuntu 11.04. Há um modem a cabo (motorola sbg900) conectado via USB. Minha largura de banda deve ser de 8mbit e upload de 0,7mbit. Algum tempo atrás, tudo funcionou muito bem, mas para o último par de semanas eu não consegui baixar mais rápido do que 400-450kB / s. Hoje dei uma olhada mais de perto e parece que a conexão USB é o problema. Tentei conectar-me ao modem via RJ45 e a velocidade máxima de download foi 8mbit (boa). Voltei para USB e nada mais do que 400-450kB / s (so 4mbits).
Eu não tenho idéia do que está errado. Eu não posso usar RJ45 - eu tenho que usar a conexão USB para o modem a cabo.
