Desativar atualizações automáticas para o Adobe CS4 no Windows 7

Desejo desabilitar as Atualizações Automáticas para o Adobe Creative Suite CS4 no Windows 7. Siga as etapas descritas em aqui .

1. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Adobe\
2. Set "AdobeOnlineDefault" to "0" (zero). If it doesnt exist, create it as a new String Value.
3. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Adobe\CSXSPreferences\
4. Set "UpdatesAllowed" to "0" (zero). If it doesnt exist, create it as a new String Value.

Eu verifiquei meu registro do Windows. Não havia AdobeOnlineDefault em HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Adobe \

No entanto, o seguinte foi bem sucedido. Mas ainda assim o atualizador aparece.

To Change the Adobe Updater preferences, do the following:

1. Start the AdobeUpdater.exe application from ...\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Updater 6
2. When the update screen appears, click the Preferences button
3. Uncheck the Automatically Check for updates checkbox and click OK 

O Adobe possui o seguinte, mas não tenho certeza se isso funciona no Windows 7 .

On Windows XP or Windows Vista

   1. Using Regedit.exe, navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Adobe
   2. Create a new key in this folder named "Updater"
   3. Create a new DWORD value within this key named "Enterprise with a value of "1"

Outro tutorial diz para alterar o arquivo AdobeUpdaterPrefs.dat que no meu caso está aqui : C: \ Usuários \ usuário1 \ AppData \ Local \ Adobe \ Updater6 \ AdobeUpdaterPrefs.dat, mas não sei como editar esse arquivo xml. Existe uma maneira correta de desativar as Atualizações Automáticas para o Adobe CS4?
