Oracle 12.2 quebras na instalação na máquina Windows 10 Pro

Estou vindo de um ambiente Linux, então não sei muito sobre o Windows.

Eu tenho uma máquina Windows 10 Pro de fábrica e tenho antivírus e firewall desativados.

Eu baixei o software 12.2c e o extraí e executei o arquivo de configuração. O instalador chega à parte em que está tentando verificar os pré-requisitos - chega a cerca de 85% e depois fecha sozinho.

Isso é extremamente frustrante e não vejo nada no log de instalação que indique qualquer problema. Anexei as últimas linhas do arquivo de log aqui:

Não, tentei instalar o Oracle após uma restauração limpa do Windows 10 Pro. Eventualmente, consegui que funcionasse - tive que fazer uma restauração limpa, depois instalar todas as atualizações do Windows, interromper todos os serviços de 'inicialização' e interromper todos os serviços que não são da Microsoft. Depois desabilitei o antivírus e o Windows Defence e finalmente consegui uma instalação bem-sucedida.
