wget não aceita o certificado do google [closed]

Eu uso o wget em um cron job para baixar meu calendário do google. Eu sei que ainda estava trabalhando na semana passada. Hoje percebi que não faz mais. wget não aceita o certificado do google:

Portanto, wget não quer corresponder a google.com com www.google.com. O que é estranho. Os certificados parecem estar bem. curl está funcionando:

Não é terrível, posso usar o curl em vez disso. Mas ainda assim - por que não está funcionando?

Este é um bug conhecido em wget 1.12 .

Como você está executando uma versão não suportada do ubuntu, o melhor curso de ação seria atualizar para uma versão suportada. wget 1.14 é a versão mais recente do Ubuntu e consertou esse bug.
