windows update - comportamento estranho usando todo o CPU

Eu tenho um servidor windows 2008R2 que teve o windows update enlouquecer. Ontem à noite, começou a cavar a CPU em 100% e usar 1GB de RAM. Matar o serviço Windows Update levou a CPU e o MEM de volta ao normal, mas estou com dificuldades para encontrar a causa raiz. O comportamento persiste após as reinicializações e a troca do serviço fará com que a CPU volte a 100%

O Windows Update está configurado para download somente e eu corrijo manualmente, ainda não atualizei as atualizações de Novidades.

Depois de procurar no google, eu procurei no arquivo CBS.log, mas está além do meu entendimento. As entradas na época em que começou a agir estão abaixo.

Infelizmente, mesmo que "baixe apenas" o Windows Update ainda "verifique" as coisas, principalmente na inicialização. O que parece estar acontecendo aqui é encontrar problemas no processo de fazê-lo. Infelizmente, o problema que parece combinar mais de perto com base nos erros no log acima é este: link .

Você também pode tentar pesquisar em "TrustedInstaller 100% CPU Windows 2008 r2" para ver outras opções que podem ser aplicáveis (eu sou novo, portanto só posso postar algumas URLs ou eu as listaria aqui também).
