Erro do Proxy do Squid do CentOS 6

Estou tentando instalar um proxy anônimo do Squid no meu computador de casa para uma apresentação rápida amanhã.
Quando tento me conectar a ele usando o Google Chrome, recebo o seguinte código de erro:

Error 130 (net:ERR_PROXY_CONNECTION_FAILED)

Eu posso ver o site do Squid no meu computador, no entanto, aparece uma mensagem de erro:

Se você quiser usar o squid no modo de proxy transparente, você precisa alterar a seguinte linha:

http_port 3128

para ler:

http_port 3128 accel vhost allow-direct

Para versões mais antigas do squid (acho que antes do squid3), você pode escrever:

http_port 3128 transparent
