Confiabilidade do S.M.A.R.T. Auto teste

Eu deixei o smartd verificar meus discos rígidos regularmente. Recentemente eu fui notificado sobre um autoteste curto com falha em um dos meus drivers.

Em seguida, iniciei um autoteste offline estendido e ele também foi interrompido devido a uma falha de leitura no mesmo LBA. Em seguida, removi o disco do mdadm-raid e iniciei um teste destrutivo com badblocks - ele passou três vezes e, surpreendentemente, nenhum erro foi encontrado. Após outro autoteste, a contagem de erros de log diminuiu para 0.

Meu carro está me traindo? (É um Western Digital RE4.) Não reporta Current_Pending_Sector, Offline_Uncorrectable ou Reallocated_Event_Count. Ele relata 1 em Raw_Read_Error_Rate e relatou 1 para Multi_Zone_Error_Rate, mas isso está de volta em 0 agora.

Substituirei a unidade, mas não tenho certeza se devo pensar que um autoteste offline estendido é confiável.

Seu status SMART agora informa setores realocados? Você fez um teste destrutivo, que escreve. Quando a unidade encontra setores que não pode escrever, ela os realoca. Estar atento à alteração deste valor SMART é importante.

Geralmente, o SMART mais frequentemente não vê erros do que erros. Autotestes e setores realocados são os parâmetros mais confiáveis, de modo que o seu impulso provavelmente está "quebrando" (em sua maneira de ser "preso":)).
