Atualização de 14.10 para 15.04 quebrou wifi no Sony Vaio

Eu fiz o upgrade de 14.04 para 15.04 via apt-get update && apt-get upgrade . Wi-Fi não funciona. Você poderia me ajudar? Eu tenho laptop Sony Vaio VPCSE2F1E.

wlan0 veja a rede chamada placek , mas como posso me conectar a ela? Na barra de menu na parte superior da tela, não há nenhuma rede Wi-Fi. Há No available network devices. e VPN.

Antes do upgrade do apt-get, estava funcionando. Eu tentei reiniciar,

Você pode tentar realmente atualizar para o 15.04 usando sudo do-release-upgrade .

Isso pode corrigir seu wifi ou corromper sua instalação ainda mais ...

Eu consertei isso reinstalando o Ubuntu do CD. Eu salvei apenas ~.

Intel tem os drivers Linux para seu Centrino por número de modelo aqui Produtos Intel Wi-Fi Faça o download do seu arquivo

    iwlwifi-6000g2b-ucode-18.168.6.1.tgz

Abra o terminal

    cd ~/Downloads
    tar -xvzf iwlwifi-6000g2b-ucode-18.168.6.1.tgz

Neste ponto, você deve ter três arquivos extraídos, um arquivo de driver que começará com iwlwifi-6000g2b um arquivo de licença e um arquivo Leiame (todas as instruções de instalação estão neste arquivo). Você pode verificar no Nautilus para ver se o arquivo já está instalado. Se não, faça o seguinte.

Do terminal

    sudo cp ~/Downloads/<your_intel_ucode_driver> /lib/firmware

Reinicie e seu Wi-Fi agora deve estar visível.
