A função de transporte de Hub do Exchange 2010 falha - chaves de registro ausentes?

Eu herdei uma tentativa de implementação do Exchange 2010 de um colega que aparentemente falhou. Eu quase consegui trazê-lo de volta dos mortos, mas a função de Transporte de Hub não consegue instalar com o seguinte erro

Não consegui encontrar nenhuma documentação sobre como resolver esse problema. Qualquer ajuda seria apreciada.

Resolvi esse problema desmantelando completamente a VM e criando-a do zero. Se alguém tiver esse problema, esse thread de technet pode ser de alguma ajuda.
