Nginx não está registrando https /: 443 solicitações

Question

Estou no processo de tentar configurar um servidor com https e, por algum motivo, parece que as solicitações não estão atingindo o nginx. Eu tenho tudo funcionando corretamente, mas uma vez que eu vá para ativar o SSL, ele me dá um não aceitará quaisquer solicitações na porta 443 (tempo limite de conexão). Alguém sabe como posso começar a depurar esse problema? Eu estou usando toda a mesma lógica que usei em servidores anteriores.

No bloco location ~ \.php$ , inclua a linha a seguir, se ela ainda não existir no arquivo fastcgi_params ...
