Como desabilitar o plugin ssl no servidor MySQL 5.7?

Question

Novas conexões SSL introduzidas no servidor MySQL agora são instaladas no padrão do representante do CentOS 6.7.

Basta remover os arquivos de certificado para resolver o problema com o Google Docs:

"If the server does not find valid certificate and key files in the data directory, it continues executing, but does not enable secure connections." Ref: http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.7/en/secure-connections.html

Mas eu quero desabilitar completamente o plugin de conexões SSL no servidor mysql, porque eu quero otimizar o desempenho do servidor MySQL removendo tudo o que eu não estou usando isso inclui este plugin.

Como desabilitar o ssl no servidor da comunidade MySQL?
