Como evito que o Apache2 tente executar um arquivo como um script?

Então, basicamente, eu segui este guia sobre monitoramento iptraf e rrdtool ao pé da letra. Eu coloquei em /usr/lib/cgi-bin/ como de costume para scripts cgi. Então, quando eu o visito de um navegador, as imagens que ele faz parecem estar quebradas. Eu defino as permissões para 777 temporariamente para fins de depuração. Eu acho que o Apache2 está tentando executar os arquivos png como um script. Como evito isso? Abaixo estão meus arquivos de configuração. Obrigado antecipadamente!

Mova suas fotos da pasta /usr/lib//cgi-bin/ e coloque-as em algum lugar dentro de /var/www/ Atualize seus caminhos de acordo.

Toda vez que você tentar acessar qualquer arquivo em cgi-bin path, ele espera que o conteúdo seja gerado pela execução desse arquivo.

Servimos um dos nossos sites insignificantes a partir de um compartilhamento NAS-CIFS, de modo que os modos unix são todos feitos de maneira crock. Tudo é modo-executável e nada pode ser alterado com chmod .

Eu descobri que meu problema era o ScriptAlias , que dizia ao Apache para executar tudo, até imagens. Eu pensei que <Directory ...> -ExecCGI... para o diretório img -sub fosse uma boa ideia, mas não funcionou.

Eu consertei meu problema movendo as imagens para fora do bin-dir (agora elas são irmãs) e adicionando um Alias (sem Script!) e <Directory...> separados.
