Áudio quase silencioso em uma conta de usuário, mas OK em outra

Em algumas contas de usuário, o áudio está OK. Em outros, é silencioso, ou quase inaudível se você colocar o ouvido no estojo do laptop.

Aqui está o controle de volume nas contas OK.

Nas contas não OK.

Diagnóstico:

1. Ambas as condições OK e não OK ocorrem nas contas do Administrador. Além disso, a conta "guest" na verdade tem áudio OK.
2. Ao tocar nas configurações, o PulseAudio ou o AlsaMixer não resolve o problema.
3. lspci output idêntico em ambos os casos. Anexado abaixo.

Usando o Xubuntu 14.04. Ocorre se eu escolho Xfce ou Xubuntu no login.

Possivelmente, você pode excluir os arquivos $HOME/.pulse/ folder e $HOME/.pulse-cookie .

Eu não testei isso, mas isso funcionou para mim: Copie (com sudo) os arquivos $HOME/.pulse/ folder e $HOME/.pulse-cookie de $USER_A para $USER_B , chown ing para $USER_B .
