Erro 5 tabela de partições inválida ou corrompida

Estou tentando adicionar um segundo SSD a um sistema Centos 6. Mas eu recebo o Error 5 partition table invalid or corrupt na inicialização.

O sistema já tem um único SSD (sdb) e um par de HDDs (sd {a, c}) em um array RAID 1 de onde ele inicializa. É como se o novo SSD assumisse um dos dispositivos da matriz RAID. É isso? Como evitar isso ou reorganizar a configuração?

Eu não consegui corrigi-lo diretamente, então peguei o novo SSD e o instalei na minha área de trabalho e lá ele foi particionado e formatado.

Em seguida, no servidor, editei o fstab comentando a antiga linha SSD e adicionando uma nova com uma especificação genérica de dispositivo:

#UUID=72552a7a-d8ae-4f0a-8917-b75a6239ce9f /ssd                    ext4    discard,relatime    1 2
/dev/sdb1 /ssd                    ext4    discard,relatime    1 2

Então desliguei o servidor e troquei o antigo SSD pelo novo.

Uma vez reinicializado, editei a especificação do dispositivo para o respectivo UUID:
