imapd-ssl: admin: nenhum arquivo ou diretório

Estou tentando configurar meu VPS para que eu possa usar o Thunderbird IMAP para gerenciar meus e-mails. Primeiro, instalei postfix e segui este guia para criar um certificado SSL. Em seguida, instalei o sasl2-bin e o courier-imap-ssl e encontrei o guia (em alemão) para configurar o SASL. Embora seja alemão, você ainda pode ver o que eu fiz com os comandos mostrados.

Depois que o Courier foi instalado, o Thunderbird finalmente aceitou minha configuração e perguntou se eu confiaria no certificado, que aceitei. * No entanto, não é possível efetuar login. Observando /var/log/mail.info , sempre que o Thunderbird tenta autenticar, ele registra o que você pode encontrar abaixo, "admin" é o meu nome de usuário.

Parece que você tem uma incompatibilidade entre o local em que o postfix armazena os e-mails e onde o correio pesquisa os e-mails.

  • Analisando a configuração do postfix, fica claro que você permite que o postfix armazene o e-mail no formato padrão e nos locais padrão, /var/spool/mail/$user com o formato mbox .

  • No courier, você usa authpam como módulo de autenticação. Portanto, espera-se que o correio pesquise os emails de /home/$user/Maildir com o formato maildir .

A correção fácil é alterar o local e o formato quando postfix e-mails da loja. Para fazer isso, adicione este parâmetro em main.cf

home_mailbox = Maildir/

Mudará o comportamento do postfix para o email das lojas em ~ / Maildir / com o formato maildir.
