Graças ao aviso do @ JeffG , consegui encontrar a fonte tgz em gnu.org .
Ainda seria bom fazer isso do ponto de vista do pacote, mas como não foi atualizado desde 2007, a instalação a partir da fonte parece segura o suficiente.
