O servidor Windows 2003 SP1 não atualizará para o SP2

Tem um problema ao atualizar um servidor para o SP2.

Caixa: Win 2003 Ent SP1 x86

Funções: servidor McAfee ePO, DHCP, DC secundário

Ao instalar o SP2, ele é bloqueado (no estágio de registro de suporte) e tem 0 uso de cpu no gerenciador de tarefas. Eu então tenho que forçar o fechamento do processo e depois reiniciar a máquina. No arquivo svcpack.log , as últimas entradas dizem:

Se eu executar a atualização do SP2 com a chave / ER , ela diz que tem um erro interno e falha bem. O svcpack.log diz algo diferente:

O código de erro estendido ( código de erro estendido do Update.exe = 0x1ffe054f ) parece ser uma descrição mais precisa do problema.

Eu também notei que o arquivo setupapi.log também é atualizado e também contém muitos erros como este:

Eu publiquei todo o arquivo svcpack.log no pastebin. http://pastebin.com/m54ee37ac

Algumas coisas que eu tentei (do googling):

• regsvr32 licdll.dll
• Renomeando as pastas de distribuição Catroot e de software (e reinicializando).
• Removido o software cliente do McAfee VSE (não o ePO)

Todas as sugestões e ideias serão muito apreciadas.

Você pode reconstruí-lo do zero e reinstalar o EPO? Pode ser a opção mais fácil.

Há um artigo da KB sobre esse problema, com duas soluções e um hotfix. Uma das soluções é regsvr32 licdll.dll. Dê uma olhada e veja se os outros resolvem seu problema.
