A solução parece estar reiniciando o Apache.
(Ainda não tomei café hoje).
Cerca de 4 servidores CentOS vêm apresentando problemas desde uma atualização recente. Todos eles não podem se conectar ao mundo externo, especificamente a partir do servidor da web. Fazer um curl ou ping da CLI funciona bem. A reinicialização do servidor faz tudo funcionar novamente.
Alguma ideia do que poderia estar errado aqui? Para os servidores que virão, eu gostaria de impedir uma reinicialização, é claro ... Eu suspeito que as atualizações de firmware de rede (abaixo) tenham estragado algo.
O SELinux deve ser desativado:
