TYAN - FT48B8812 IKVM AST2050 não-funcionais, alternativas, alternativas

Comprei um sistema FT48B8812. Ele contém um chipset IKVM. No entanto, o software é realmente de má qualidade. As principais coisas que não funcionam são:

Supposed to provide SSL web interface - doesn't exist.
Java based Remote console, code-signing expired a year ago.

A razão pela qual eu escolhi este sistema foi que eu queria poder acessá-lo na situação em que a configuração do sistema operacional ficou confusa - então é praticamente inútil agora.

Eu posso reiniciar o sistema, ótimo - mas não consigo acessar o console sem dirigir algumas centenas de quilômetros até o data center.

Muitas outras pessoas devem usar este sistema - alguém tem um comentário?

Primeiro de tudo, eu tentaria acessar a página do IPKVM usando o IE, em um desktop do Windows com Java instalado - muitos desses sistemas não são realmente amigáveis ao Linux, infelizmente.

Além disso, como é um novo sistema, você deve ter suporte - você entrou em contato com o fornecedor de hardware ou com a Tyan diretamente?
