Eu configurei o pm-hibernate na AMD e em uma plataforma Intel mais antiga. Mas esta perticular está me dando mais problemas do que o normal. Emitir pm-hibernate funciona, mas trava por um longo tempo antes de finalmente desligar.
No dmesg abaixo, ele espera cerca de 15 segundos antes que a linha seguinte seja impressa:

Não é que eu não possa esperar os 15 segundos. Mas eu gostaria de saber porque se comporta assim. O que poderia fornecer mais informações sobre o que o kernel / sistema operacional está esperando?
Com o mesmo computador e um kernel padrão do Debian squeeze, ele também funciona, é mais rápido, mas tem outros problemas, como " Nenhum manipulador de irq para vetor (irq -1) "após a hibernação
O kernel que estou tentando usar é um kernel oficial não-corrigido 2.6.38.4 do kernel.org
