executa o gitlab e o tomcat através do proxy reverso do apache

Question

Estou tentando desde dois dias fazer com que o tomcat e o gitlab funcionem no mesmo domínio de nível superior. meu tomcat está sendo executado na porta 8080 e meu gitlab está sendo executado em 8081 . quando digito mywebsite.com:8081 , sou redirecionado com êxito para o gitlab e quando digito mywebsite.com:8080 , sou redirecionado com sucesso para minha instância do tomcat. Agora eu instalei o apache 2 e deixei ele rodar na porta 80 e tente usá-lo como um proxy reverso, mas toda vez que eu digito http://www.mywebsite.com/gitlab eu recebo um 404.

Estou usando o Debian e, portanto, tive que editar /etc/apache2/sites-available/000-default.conf Dentro dessa configuração é isso agora:

De acordo com suas tags, você está usando o Apache 2.4. Para isso, a sintaxe de permissão mudou .

A nova sintaxe seria

mas eu não acho que esse bloco <Proxy> seria necessário de qualquer maneira no presente formulário.
