Estou tentando usar o VSFTP 3.0.3-3ubuntu2 em uma instalação do Ubuntu 16: 04.1. Fiz isso para que um aplicativo em outro servidor possa executar um script automatizado para extrair arquivos do servidor FTP acionado por uma tarefa cron.
Eu posso conectar-me ao servidor FTP facilmente usando o Filezilla e posso navegar na estrutura do diretório ftp, e ambos fazem o download & carregar arquivos no modo ativo e passivo, então sei que o VSTFP está instalado e se comportando de alguma forma, como esperado. No entanto, quando tento conectar-me ao servidor FTP usando a linha de comando, não consigo navegar na estrutura do arquivo, nem consigo fazer um dir ou ls comando, então, naturalmente, o software em execução no meu outro servidor não é capaz de puxar os arquivos necessários, uma vez que é essencialmente, executando um script para se conectar ao servidor FTP em segundo plano.
Alguém pode sugerir qual pode ser o problema aqui?

Eu também tentei ativar o modo passivo via linha de comando, mas estou recebendo as mesmas mensagens de erro "permissão negada". Embora para um comando "dir" eu recebo uma resposta ligeiramente diferente em Passive - 425 Falha ao estabelecer conexão.

Eu habilitei o log do vsftpd, mas ele está mostrando apenas notificações bem-sucedidas de conexão em relação à tentativa de login via linha de comando. Não consigo ver nenhuma pista de por que não posso executar o comando pela linha de comando. Se eu fizer o login via Filezilla e puxar alguns arquivos, posso ver esses downloads sendo registrados corretamente.
Meu arquivo de configuração VSFTP é o seguinte, note que a linha de fundo, eu adicionei na linha "comandos permitidos" em uma tentativa de obter VSFTP para me ouvir, mas claramente não funcionou. n.b Ao tentar colocar um arquivo no servidor, recebo um erro crítico de transferência. Embora isso seja um problema, não é minha prioridade aqui.
