Como descompactar “Zip archive data, pelo menos v3.0 to extract” no Ubuntu

Question

Eu baixei algumas imagens de máquinas virtuais (IE9_Win7) do site modern.ie, mas não consigo extraí-las no Ubuntu 12.04. Comete erros com:

Archive:  IE9_Win7.zip

  zipfile corrupt.

Eu fiz o download novamente várias vezes. O arquivo tem esta assinatura de arquivo:

IE9_Win7.zip: Zip archive data, at least v3.0 to extract

Eu posso descompactar o arquivo IE10 sem problemas, porque ele tem menos de 4 GB e tem essa assinatura de arquivo:

IE10_Win8.zip: Zip archive data

Qual ferramenta para o Ubuntu 12.04 pode extrair o zip v3.0?
