Você pode tentar definir "create mask" para 0775 - também:
create mask = 0775
0700 significaria aqui - somente o administrador pode imprimir - não tenho certeza de como você tentou imprimir - de casa por telefone na empresa como administrador?
Estou com problemas para imprimir na impressora conectada à rede da minha empresa (SBS2003). A impressora é um Sharp MX-M314N. Todos os computadores com Windows na rede podem imprimir bem, apenas a minha máquina Ubuntu que não.
Eu sei o IP da impressora e posso fazer ping e até mesmo imprimir arquivos indo para o 192.168.0.50 no firefox e carregando um arquivo.
Se eu faço um nmap no IP da impressora e no servidor eu recebo isto:

Eu também tentei adicionar a impressora através de lpadmin :

smbstatus sempre relata nenhum processo (acabei de obter cabeçalhos de tabela). Eu não sei se isso é importante, mas parece suspeito para mim.
A seção [printers] do meu smb.conf é praticamente o padrão:

E muitas vezes recebo uma notificação dizendo "Erro da impressora: erro da impressora Nome da impressora: connecting-to-device "
Eu simplesmente não consigo fazê-lo funcionar, o problema parece estar entre Cups e o servidor windows como se eu fosse para 192.168.0.50:9100 no firefox a impressora imprime o cabeçalho GET que ele recebe. Eu também posso ir para 192.168.0.50 e fazer o upload de um arquivo diretamente para a impressora. Por fim, posso entrar na impressora e carregar arquivos dessa maneira.

0700 significaria aqui - somente o administrador pode imprimir - não tenho certeza de como você tentou imprimir - de casa por telefone na empresa como administrador?
