O nmtui é um comando alternativo para o nmcli que é baseado na Interface de Usuário de Texto
como root, basta digitar
nmtui
Eu tentei alguns exemplos de comando para começar, mas nenhum me ajuda a adicionar uma conexão e conectar-se.

e quero me conectar a ela. Os documentos que encontro parecem não corresponder à minha versão de nmcli
Para o Fedora, descobri que o seguinte funcionaria veja aqui
