Suporte a WebGL no VirtualBox guest

Eu consegui instalar um Debian 7.3 como convidado no VirtualBox 4.3.6 VM com adições de convidados, e não sou capaz de fazer o trabalho webGL.

Embora eu possa ver o openGL funcionando (tentei com glxinfo e glxgears da linha de comando), não consigo fazer o trabalho webGL no Firefox / Chrome / Iceweasel (não tentei outros navegadores ). Para verificar se o webgl está ok, estou acostumado a navegar no link ; algumas notas informando o momento em que eu cheguei:

  • definindo webgl.force-enabled como true na página about:config firefox (e depois todas as informações relacionadas a previsões como true)
  • verificou que o processo de instalação de adições do convidado foi correto (eu tive que instalar o módulo de cabeçalhos de kernel correto);
  • aceleração 3D ativada para essa VM;
  • na máquina host (Ubuntu 12.04) webGL funciona bem.

Então, neste ponto: é possível fazer o webGL funcionar em um sistema operacional guest debian (ou geralmente em um sistema operacional convidado, porque talvez isso não seja suportado)? Acho que é mais simples a solução, menos personalizada e, portanto, menos sujeita a erros estranhos.

Embora eu não tenha a configuração exata que você está usando, eu pude rodar o WebGL no firefox com o host rodando o Fedora 21, o VirtualBox versão 4.3.32 e o Fedora 22 como convidado.
