Depois de um tempo, a webcam integrada é desconectada

Quando eu inicializo meu Ubuntu 12.04 eu posso ver a saída da minha webcam através do queijo, skype, etc ... mas depois ele congela e no dmesg ele mostra que está desconectado e desaparece do lsusb. Também o / dev / video * desaparece.

Estava funcionando antes, mas por algum motivo agora eu tenho esse problema. Acho que foi uma atualização ...

Eu acho que a webcam está realmente morta! Isso só aconteceu comigo também por nenhuma razão no meu notebook Compaq CQ100, não fiz nenhuma atualização ou nada! Encontrei este tópico googling para o mesmo problema ..

Sempre que eu tento inicializar a câmera, o LED ao lado dele acende brevemente e apaga. Sem vídeo. Tentando novamente o aplicativo (guvcview) me diz que não há câmera detectada. Olhando para a saída do dmesg, posso ver que a câmera apenas se desconecta assim que eu tento iniciá-la.

sudo rmmod uvcvideo && sudo modprobe uvcvideo

traz /dev/video0 de volta, mas continua falhando ...
