Atualizando o SO elementar para Freya

Question

Eu tenho o element Luna e quero atualizá-lo para o Freya. Como fiz nos últimos tempos no Ubuntu, esperei para o gerenciador de pacotes me avisar que a nova versão está fora e para atualizar o sistema operacional, mas o Elementary simplesmente não faz isso.

Eu fiz sudo apt-get dist-upgrade mas nada aconteceu. Qual fonte devo informar para atualizar todo o sistema?

No momento, o elementary não está fornecendo um caminho de atualização do gerenciador de atualização, pois os resultados são misturados. Às vezes funciona, às vezes não. Você pode tentar:

1. Faça o backup de TUDO.
2. Faça um disco de instalação do Freya .
3. Inicialize a partir do disco de instalação e selecione a opção "upgrade".

No entanto, como eu disse, os resultados podem variar. É sempre recomendável executar uma instalação limpa. Uma atualização não oferecerá exatamente a mesma experiência de uma instalação limpa, pois não substituirá suas configurações pessoais. Isso é importante para novos recursos, como a nomenclatura de guias no Terminal.
