Qual é a identificação da fonte que está sendo usada no Solaris para o texto do console?

Existe um equivalente no Windows?

Eu converti a fonte em um arquivo TTF em algum momento, que usei no OS X com algum sucesso. Quando renderizado com anti-aliasing, é utilizável em uma variedade surpreendentemente ampla de tamanhos.

Está disponível (ou equivalente próximo) nas distribuições do Linux em /usr/lib/kbd/consolefonts/sun12x22.psfu.gz

Não tenho dúvidas com as ferramentas de conversão como psf2bdf e Fontforge , você poderá convertê-lo em algo utilizável no Windows.

Tenha em atenção que o tipo de letra resultante terá uma largura fixa, pelo que só será utilizável ao seu próprio tamanho. Qualquer outro tamanho daria um texto desagradável devido à interpolação de píxeis.

BTW, the font is a bitmap font called Sun Gallant Demi, or in X,
-sun-gallant-demi-*-normal-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*

So in theory you could run:

xterm -font '-sun-gallant-demi-*-normal-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*' -fg white -bg black

to run an xterm looking like the console, except Solaris 11 no longer
includes the Sun fonts. You may be able to extract them from an
older release or find them somewhere on the web.
