Como parar de travar o meu sistema ao usar placas de captura PCI-X1?

11.04 Ubuntu de 64 bits. Eu reinstalo o terceiro tempo e logo após a instalação eu tenho essa tela:

Agora, tentando com o BIOS desabilitar a placa PCI-X1 de alguma forma, se eu puder fazer o login, pelo menos, eu tenho que usar um modo liveCD para verificar o lshw.

Se o Ubuntu travar, então isso é um bug e você arquiva os arquivos no Launchpad.net. Como você aponta, você deve ser capaz de obter as informações de hardware de uma sessão ao vivo de 10.04.
