Eu tive um LVM de 2 discos chamado Data por aproximadamente 6 meses, e recentemente comprei um terceiro disco. Eu instalei o disco na máquina e queria formatá-lo e estender o lvm para ele, como eu fiz antes. O sistema recusou-se a formatar o disco, alegando que já estava em uso. Eu procurei por possíveis soluções e acabei usando o dmsetup remove_all. Isso me permitiu formatar a nova unidade, mas agora parece que o sistema tem problemas com um dos dois discos no lvm. Eu não sei qual é o próximo passo.
Tentarei incluir o máximo de informações possível. Sda é um disco de 500GB para o sistema / swap etc. Sdb e sdc são os dois discos já existentes, e o sdd é a mais nova adição. Sdb, sdc e sdd são todos discos de 3 TB. Eu basicamente só quero o lvm restaurado, e possivelmente o novo disco incluído nele. Parece que a solução está bem na minha frente, eu simplesmente não sei bem o que fazer.

Você errou. Você foi informado que não pôde formatar o disco porque estava em uso. estava em uso. Você estava tentando formatar um dos discos existentes, não o novo. Agora você formatou a unidade existente e perdeu seus dados. Você precisará restaurar a partir do backup.
Você pode ver na saída do pvdisplay que / dev / sdd1 é 100% livre, então essa parece ser a nova unidade.
