Não é possível abrir o google chrome stable no element os os freya

Question

Eu instalei google-chrome-stable 64 bit. Mas não está abrindo. Meu sistema é Elementary OS Freya 64 bit.

Eu tentei instalar murrine , mas o sistema me mostrou que isso já está na versão mais recente.

Parece que o Chrome está procurando o mecanismo Murrine Gtk. Você deve instalar o gtk2-engines-murrine

O pacote chromium (que é não é o mesmo do Chrome do Google). Mas funciona, e parece e age como o chrome, que basicamente satisfaz meu caso de uso.

Verifique se você tem a versão de 64 bits. Se a sua versão instalada de 32 bits, purgá-lo e reinstalar.

Eu tive um problema semelhante, acontece que eu instalei o 32 bit quando eu pensei que eu instalei 64 bits.
