rx 560x mais lento que o vega gpu integrado no fedora 28

Estou usando o fedora 28 porque parece que é a única distro em que isso detecta o rx560x corretamente. No entanto, notei que o desempenho ao usar o GPU discreto é significativamente pior do que usar o integrado.

Minha configuração de máquina é: ACER nitro 5 an515-42, Ram 8gb, APU ryzen 2500u com placa gráfica integrada Vega 8, Placa gráfica RX 560X AMD.

Mas ao executar aplicativos usando a GPU discreta, o desempenho é mais lento. Um exemplo é a execução

DRI_PRIME=0 glmark2

Esse usa a GPU integrada e obtive uma performance de cerca de 2000 fps, mas executando:

DRI_PRIME=1 glmark2

Me dá uma performance de cerca de 500 fps, que não deve ser o caso, porque é a GPU discreta.

Isso pode ser confirmado pelos seguintes resultados:

Eu considero o mesmo problema que você no Arch Linux (table-git, llvm-svn, linux 4.18.12 (mesmo rodando 4.19.x ou mainline 4.20rcx)). O kernel do linux estável não é, eu diria, otimizado para o nosso gpu ainda. Felizmente, existe uma solução temporária. Eu tentei linux-amd-wip-git (drm-next-4.21-wip ) que tem as últimas atualizações de amd (também existem outros kernels que tê-los como linux-drm-fixes-git (drm-fixes ), depende de você que você escolhe. Muitos jogos não podem ser jogados no kernel estável e a maioria deles roda melhor na GPU integrada do que na discreta, como você também está dizendo. linux-amd-wip-git faz executar um gpu discreto melhor que o integrado e eu também recebo, por exemplo Ganho de ~ 30 fps no World Of Warcraft via vinho e gálio nove / dxvk. Alguns jogos têm um desempenho ainda melhor, tudo que eu tentei fazer. Nós apenas temos que esperar pela fusão desses patches com o linux estável. No final, pelo menos sabemos que será corrigido.
