Ubuntu 17 não inicializando

Instalei o Ubuntu 17, mas ele não inicializaria depois que a instalação foi concluída. Eu acho que é um problema com o MBR. Eu tentei instalá-lo novamente e recebo o erro

Eu criei sda3 via gparted na esperança de corrigir o problema .....

você precisa instalar o grub no modo efi tente:

sudo apt-get instala o grub-efi

install-grub --target = x86_64-efi

se você receber o erro "Não foi possível encontrar o diretório EFI", você instalou no modo BIOS.

Ele pode ser convertido, mas, para evitar problemas futuros, talvez seja necessário reinstalá-lo.
