Eu tenho o Linux Mint 17.2 em um lenovo T400. Ele tem a placa wireless Intel 5100 AGN instalada.
Na minha universidade, há um SSID sem fio de convidado inseguro e um SSID seguro WPA / WPA2 que autentica com base no nome de usuário / senha. Eu posso conectar-me à rede insegura com poucos problemas, mas não consigo me conectar à conexão WPA. Ele pedirá minha senha, tentará a conexão e solicitará a senha novamente, ad infinitum.
Isso não depende de quanto tempo a máquina esteve em execução, se ela foi suspensa, etc. Foi assim desde que eu instalei este SO.

FWIW o gerenciador de wifi também reclama na primeira tentativa sobre a falta de um certificado de CA. Oferece duas opções: ignorar e escolher certificado. Eu ignoro.
Alguém tem uma ideia de qual é o problema? Obrigado antecipadamente.
