Como posso consertar uma partição do FreeBSD / UFS sobreposta?

Eu tenho uma unidade Seagate 1TB [ST1000LM010-9YH146] que tinha uma fatia do FreeBSD e foi formatada como UFS e montada em / home em uma caixa pfsense.

Durante a troca de hardware, a unidade foi inadvertidamente conectada a um cabo FreeAgent GoFlex (que possui firmware) e conectada a um laptop Win 7. Quando fui configurar uma nova caixa pfsense, ela não era montada e tinha uma partição NTFS sobreposta à partição UFS. Além disso, nunca foi usado como uma unidade de inicialização, apenas um lugar temporário para / home enquanto eu movia alguns arquivos.

Existem algumas coisas insubstituíveis nesta unidade e gostaria de poder montá-la para recuperar os arquivos. Eu sei o suficiente para particionar, montar e desmontar, mas não confie em mim mesmo para parafusar a geometria sem orientação.

Não consigo executar o testdisk novamente no momento, uma atualização do pfsense alterou algumas bibliotecas, mas eu deveria tê-lo corrigido em breve.

Edit: Para esclarecer, é uma partição do FreeBSD formatada com o UFS, não uma partição do UFS.

Na partição UFS2, o setor 2 deve conter uma lista de partes / fatias

sector 1 is boot record 0x200 bytes

sector 2 (count bytes started from beginning of partition):

0x200: header/name usually "WEV" upto "amnesiac"
..
0x290: slice a (root)
       0x294: slice size (in sector)
       0x298: start/offset (in sector)
0x2a0: slice b (swap)
0x2b0: slice c (alldisk)
       0x2b4: sum of all slices size (whole partition)
       0x298: 0
0x2c0 - 0x3f0: slice d - w

No seu caso, você deve editar a fatia c para o tamanho da partição (Setores 1953525100?), Também fatia um 0x294-0x29b, com valores iguais.

Apague a entrada do MBR para NTFS e corrija a entrada do UFS felizmente restante com ID 0x5A.
