Então, atualmente estou executando o Fedora 27, embora esse problema esteja presente desde o F26. O problema é que não consigo atualizar o git por meio de repos normais. Estou confuso sobre o porquê, porque não consigo encontrar mais nada no internet sobre isso.
Minha versão atual do Git é 2.14.3 e deve ser 2.15.1

Deve-se notar que os repositórios do COPR não são funcionais desde o F27, mas estavam funcionando quando o problema ocorreu pela primeira vez.

Como pode ser visto em Bodhi , a versão mais recente do git disponível para o Fedora 27 é 2.14.3; o comportamento que você está vendo é perfeitamente normal. Se você quiser uma versão mais recente de git , precisará criá-la você mesmo ou instalá-la em outro lugar. Você também pode enviar um bug pedindo uma versão mais recente, se isso já não tiver sido feito. (2.15.1 é disponível para o Fedora 28 .)
