A tela fica preta no laptop (extensão Debian + canela)

Recentemente instalei o Debian stretch (teste) em um novo laptop (dell xps 13 com touchscreen) com o ambiente de desktop canela. Para os gráficos da Intel, uso xserver-xorg-video-intel . Quando eu entrei, a tela desligava (sem luz de fundo, sem pixels) após alguns segundos (na maior parte do tempo). Eu percebi que provavelmente era um problema tanto o systemd quanto o canela pegando os eventos "abrir / fechar a tampa", então eu modifiquei /etc/systemd/logind.conf da seguinte forma:

Desta forma, apenas a canela é responsável pelos eventos de tampa. Ainda assim, de vez em quando, minha tela se apaga (isso não parece ter nada a ver com o login, embora eu tenha que fechar a tampa para "reiniciar" a tela). Não parece haver nada de errado em Xorg.conf , mas posso estar errado. Aqui está o Xorg.log:

Está ficando interessante. Não há nada no syslog, Xorg.log, glass.log, journalctl. Quando isso acontece, tudo parece quieto. Onde mais eu poderia procurar?
