Como reinicio o offlineimap?

Eu tenho offlineimap em execução em uma tarefa do cron com */10 * * * * offlineimap -q -u quiet . De vez em quando, parece ser interrompido e, quando isso acontece, não consigo reiniciá-lo. Se eu tentar executá-lo a partir do terminal, recebo um erro indicando que está bloqueado:

Existe alguma maneira de quebrar o bloqueio ou forçar o offlineimap a sair completamente?

Isso parece ser resolvido no OfflineIMAP 6.6.1.
