ssh login sem senha não está funcionando no RHEL

Depois de seguir este tutorial para configurar acima SSH pubkey auth, eu não consigo obter login sem senha para trabalhar, Ele sempre me redireciona para a autenticação de senha.

Tanto quanto eu sei, eu copiei corretamente a chave pública em authorized_keys no servidor para uma linha e também removi o endereço "email".

Estou executando uma máquina windows, mas estou ssh-ing através do meu terminal git bash.

Eu executei o comando chmod 700 .ssh; chmod 640 .ssh/authorized_keys no servidor como o usuário bob

Sua ajuda seria muito apreciada. obrigada.

UPDATE: Eu tentei criar uma chave usando cygwin desta vez e ela me deu a saída como descrito no tutorial (com a arte da chave aleatória na parte inferior), Ele não funcionou : (

Depois de aprender com um colega sobre /var/log/* , adivinhei que minha tentativa de autenticação seria registrada em /var/log/secure . E assim foi:

Apr  1 14:31:21 MYSERVER sshd[11980]: Authentication refused: bad ownership or modes for directory /home/bob
Apr  1 14:34:18 MYSERVER sshd[11987]: Connection closed by 123.123.123.123

Esse erro ocorre porque o diretório do usuário deve ser apenas rwx pelo próprio usuário, não por grupo ou outro.

Isso é corrigido fazendo login como bob , executando o comando chmod 700 /home/bob e depois disso, a autenticação funcionou com a putty via chave privada!

Eu não sei nada sobre cygwin, mas este tutorial intitulado: 3 etapas para executar o SSH Login sem senha usando ssh-keygen & ssh-copy-id .

É praticamente como eu configuro as coisas quando faço isso. Eu uso o comando ssh-copy-id em vez de cat , acho muito mais simples.

$ ssh-copy-id -i ~/.ssh/id_rsa.pub remote-host
