Por que não tenho um arquivo httpd.conf em / etc / apache2?

Eu instalei o Ubuntu 14.04 LTS. O Ubuntu parece vir com o Apache2 mas na pasta apache2 não há httpd.conf ?

Por que o arquivo está faltando e o que tenho que fazer para criá-lo?

Por link , todas as opções de configuração foram movidas para subdiretórios.

httpd.conf: historically the main Apache2 configuration file, named
after the httpd daemon. Now the file does not exist. In older
versions of Ubuntu the file might be present, but empty, as all
configuration options have been moved to the below referenced
directories.

Verifique o link de referência para o nome e a descrição de cada subdiretório.

este arquivo httpd.conf ainda existe em RedHat, Centos, Ferodra no entanto Agora Este arquivo não existe no ubuntu.
