Eu não sei como aumentar a velocidade do mouse.
Há algumas semanas, xset estava funcionando bem.
Agora, eu aumento a velocidade usando o comando
xinput --set-prop 'USB OPTICAL MOUSE' 'libinput Accel Speed' 1
