alterar premissions de arquivo não funciona

Eu ssh em um servidor e tentei alterar uma permissão de arquivos. Isso é o que eu consegui:

$ ll

Por que não está funcionando?

Você verá que a partição é montada a partir de um dispositivo NAS de algum tipo que não implementa permissões POSIX ou que foi configurado para ignorar a alteração de permissões.

Você pode ver que não é um sistema de arquivos local observando a saída de df -h index.html
