Eu fiz o upgrade do Ubuntu 15.04 64-bit para o Ubuntu 15.10 64-bit, mas notei que meu kernel não atualizou e ainda mostra:
$ uname -r
3.13.0-35-generic
Então eu tentei o seguinte comando para atualizá-lo para o kernel 4.2, mas ele diz o seguinte:
$ sudo apt-get install linux-generic

Também para adicionar isso, emitindo um dpkg --list 'linux-headers*' 'linux-image*'
mostra que posso ter um 4.2.0-16 kernel
em algum lugar. Mas o uname
