Por que não pode iniciar este processo no lançamento?

Eu tenho dois scripts /etc/init.d/puma_a.sh e /etc/init.d/puma_b.sh com configurações idênticas. Eu tento definir os dois boot assim, mas um deles não carrega na inicialização. Se eu manualmente iniciá-lo a partir do console, ele funciona. Alguma idéia?

Atualização: Ao analisar os logs, vejo que o puma não pode ser iniciado. É estranho porque quando faço /etc/init.d/puma_a.sh start manualmente funciona.

Você precisa tornar o script executável em primeiro lugar.

chmod +x puma_a.sh

Colocar um script na seqüência de inicialização sem permissão de execução será ignorado.
