O instalador do Linux Mint inclui uma opção para substituir / atualizar APENAS o Linux Mint em um sistema de inicialização dupla?

Eu tenho um sistema de inicialização dupla executando o Windows 7 de 64 bits e o Linux Mint 16 (com o Cinnamon).

Eu gostaria de substituir o Mint 16 pelo Mint 17 (estou bem com a limpeza completa do JUST Mint). Eu quero deixar o Windows como está.

O instalador do Linux Mint inclui uma opção que basicamente diz "sim ... vamos substituir sua antiga instalação do Linux, mas não tocar em mais nada."

Eu achei que havia algo para isso, mas as notas de lançamento do Mint 17 dizem:

In the installer, "Replace OS with Linux Mint" means erase the entire drive

If another operating system is present on the disk, the second option suggested by the installer is to "replace the OS with Linux Mint".

This option doesn't just wipe the partition used by the mentioned OS, but the entire drive and all its partitions.
