Salvando arquivos em NTFS está corrompido?

Comecei recentemente a usar o Fedora no meu laptop. Eu configurei para que ele fique em uma partição criptografada de aproximadamente 20 GB e a maioria das pastas Home (Downloads, Documentos, Imagens) são vinculadas por links a equivalentes do Windows. Funcionou bem, pelo menos até eu começar a salvar arquivos nessas pastas

Enquanto estou no Fedora, posso salvar todos os meus arquivos na partição do Windows e visualizá-los bem. No entanto, quando eu inicio no Windows 7, metade do tempo os arquivos nem sequer aparecem. Rodar o chkdsk mostra muitos erros e continua a deletar a maioria dos arquivos que eu criei no Linux

Se for útil, este é o log chkdsk completo da última execução em que eu perdi muitos downloads entre outros arquivos (é muito detalhado desde que o peguei do Log de Eventos)

Isso vem acontecendo desde o Fedora 15, que varia de irritante ("Oh, perdi alguns gifs de memes aleatórios que eu baixei") para irritar ("Oh, minha designação de programação foi deletada"). É até o ponto em que estou prestes a montar a partição como somente leitura, o que significa que provavelmente não usarei o Linux.

Alguém mais já experimentou esse problema? Existem remédios conhecidos? O NTFS no Windows 7 é suportado?

Tente usar o driver ntfs-3g no fedora em vez do ntfs. Ele já deve estar instalado por padrão no último fedora.

Para testar, você pode fazer:

 mount -t ntfs-3g /dev/sda2 /mnt/win7

Se funcionar, você poderá adicioná-lo ao seu fstab:

/dev/sda2 /media/win7/ ntfs-3g rw,uid=1000,gid=1000,umask=007 0 0

Eu tive experiências ruins com o NTFS no linux. Eventualmente, quando eu queria compartilhar uma partição, acabei de formatá-la como FAT se a partição não precisasse ser muito grande. O problema, no meu entender, é que os drivers NTFS para Linux não são escritos por MS e MS não tem sido muito útil em fornecer detalhes para uma implementação por perfeita compatibilidade.

Se você não precisa que sua máquina Fedora seja veloz, você pode usar o VirtualBox para rodar o Linux como convidado e configurar o compartilhamento do SAMBA.

Pode ser porque é criptografado. Ele pode tentar criptografá-lo rapidamente e salvá-lo, pois ele sabe que o disco que você está tentando salvar está criptografado. No entanto, ele não sabe que é um link simbólico.
